personally I wouldn't use an irc channel for "/b/ronies" just because I don't like being associated with /b/, also I think it would be better to have one for this site so we wouldn't have to feel associated with only the /b/ or /co/ communities, when I go to 4chan I actually don't go to either of those places, I actually found out about the whole pony thing from a freind.

Also, I made a separate board for discussing other sites.

That will make it easier for me to focus on stuff I can actually do something about.

I've kinda badmouthed our host even though they're not a bad company, so I'd rather not say.

But the new host will probably be one of the following: WebFaction, A Small Orange, Laughing Squid, DreamHost, Liquid Web, or SliceHost. I'm still sorting through the details before I decide.

I'd love to see a merger happen. I think it's important to keep the whole community as close together as possible. Not to mention, it would be a real sign of FRIENDSHIP, and that's what we're striving for, aren't we?

Honestly, I feel dividing a fan/userbase is a bad idea. MLP is huge right now, and can keep both boards alive and thriving, but that might not be so in the future, and division will hasten the death of this weird little corner of fandom I've come to enjoy so much. Both sites have their strengths and weaknesses, and each has different specific boards that are great fun and may or may not even overlap. I'd rather see all of the content, and all of the bronies in one place.

Ah, okay. Personally I've seen at least a few instances now where the wordfilter for "the/w/or/ld" or "w/or/ld" have made a post somewhat awkward to read.

So, I submit to the Admin that we lift the filter on those, but place the 'Equestria' filter onto 'earth' specifically. After all, the w/or/ld of ponies doesn't have to be referred to by name all the time, does it?

Well, I've got hardly any income at the moment, but I was able to chuck some money into the donation bin. 5 bucks ain't much, but if enough other people kick in even that much then I think we can pull through fine.

This has been happening a lot to me lately, just the message box and other fields. Hit 'reply' with nothing entered last time it happened. That got me the no text/pic message from witch I backspaced to thread and hit 'f5'. Then suddenly posts!

Also on sometimes run in the no threads on boards. fixed by posting a new thread and deleting it afterwards.

It's happening because the site is over capacity. Nopony was expecting traffic to grow so quickly.

I coded a temporary solution so mods can rebuild individual boards, and I'm aiming to move to a better host within a week. That should keep this from happening again.

1. I can't reveal that info. But there aren't any words that can get you banned (besides the default list that comes with Kusaba, containing prescription drug sites and such)

2. Any donations would be much appreciated. There are details on the front page. All the site issues we've been having are because we're over capacity. Once we move to a better host, these issues will go away.

3. I probably shouldn't say this, either. But there's really nothing anypony should worry about in the spam filter.

Huh! I didn't know there were default ones for sites. Then again, I don't think I've ever been to a prescription drug site, so I'm ok there. ☺

Oh, man, with the purging of 4chan I have a feeling it's gonna get a lot more crowded around here! I'm guessing you need more monetary support than hardware support, so I'll see if there's anything I can do in the future (I'm unemployed currently,feelsbadman).

I don't think ponychan is popular enough to warrant captcha yet, but as long as I'm not running into flood detection errors, I'll be happy.
