So, I'm finally up to doing this art thing again, after a long period of 'Oh why bother I suck at this.' I'd like to thank college for proving there's something more stressful than worrying about how good or bad you are at making lines into ponies. I might as well start a thread here again, though to prevent a huge dump of everything I'll only post up a few recent drawings (Traditional) and the any finished products from them I have (Digital).

For example, this is a recent 'finished product' with my character Sky Ribbon struggling to push a storm cloud. Had some fun with backgrounds on this'n, as well as some experience in re-doing the lines for her wing from scratch because the sketch's wings, in retrospect, looked absolutely atrocious. I'll upload the page I got this from in a post or two so you can see.



I'll be taking requests on an "if I feel like it" basis.

I'll be taking commissions, on the off chance anyone wants one, just to kinda test the waters on pricing. Basically, if you want one, give me your idea (either in email or a post here), and I'll tell you how much I'd charge for it (or if I'd have to respectfully decline because I don't think I can do it). Hope that sounds fair ~

Hi there. I've been mostly lurking this board for a while—with the occasional OC request—but I've always wanted to be able to draw like everypony else. I know I'm not that great of an artist, but I had no idea how difficult this really is; you all make it look so easy. I've got a new appreciation for everypony here, especially those I've requested art from Anyway, I'm going to start posting my terrible drawings here in the hopes that they'll improve over time. Critique and advice are much appreciated.

Pic is what I accomplished after three hours of toiling with path tools and a few others in GIMP. I used my standard OC pic as a base.

Remember when I used to do a whole buncha requests, and tried a Tumblr? Well, the Tumblr's become a success and so has my art, so I'm opening a thread for both publicity, and possibly for free arts for anyone who asks. Though, I can't promise that I'll get to it very quickly, as I'm a slow artist. But if demand rises, maybe I'll be quicker. Who knows, eh? Anyways, glad to be back, and I hope some of you recognize me from a while ago.

Welcome to my gallery and critic studio! I'm an amateur artist, and by that I mean I have no concept of depth or flow in my drawings; they're kind of just doodles.

I would like to make this a more serious hobby (Also get into digital drawing), and once I get back state side I want to pursue this even further. But for now I'll stick to /art/ for pointers and get people to tell me what it is that I'm doing wrong or right. I'll try to post art to this gallery often, but that's not for sure. I'll try my best to be active. :)
