Ideas needed. Also, I would accept requests for food self-practice.

Thanks for watching my gallery!

How did you move it from paper to digital? Scanner?

Good effort, but try copying the shapes more closely. Line things up to each other over different parts of the image. For example, notice how his butt extends past his legs in your picture, but in the original it's the other way around. (although maybe this was intentional?)

Keep practicing! You're off to a good start.

Nope, digital camera.

Thanks, I've just started practising GIMP. Curving for me now is great pain in the ass.

Here's some more. Maybe it's proportionless, but that was one of the first my drawings.

When I was using Gimp, I'd up the weight and quality to the MAX on the smooth stroke option. It definitely improved the results but I eventually went over to Photoshop and would create rectangle shapes, and eventually puppet warp for each individual line. It was time consuming but well worth the results. This picture here is the first time I tried this method.

Anyway, I don't have too much money or time to buy or to get Photoshop, so I'm trying Inkscape at the moment.

Thanks but I will admit I made the pony in ponycreator v3.

I never heard of Inkscape before so I'll have to go check that out.

So anyways what inspired you to create your OC?

I'll give you three seconds to guess it yourself.
3, 2, 1,..
The answer is:
Myself. I did this character as the copy of better-me, so I can feel that I don't need to write something special when RPing as Hackwrench, I just write exactly what I would say in this situation. (Mostly, of course.)
But Gears then inspired me to make another character. It's in development by now. About it I'll tell later, when I'll finish my current drawings.

I was trying to make a humanised version of Gears, I hope I did it right.

Tl;dr: bump.

Gonna remind that I'm taking free requests, because I ran out of ideas. Thanks for reading.

Just a sketch, nothing serious.
