And, honestly, this game has absolutely nothing to do with pones. But hey, it's worth trying.  Dungeon Fighter Online MLP Guild?The game is returning soon, and with the /vg/ of the game looking incredibly shitty, I'm wondering if anybody here is planning to return to the game as well.  I had a Pokémon dream last night.I dreamt I was playing a Generation VI Pokémon game. In the game I earned or won the Silph Scope (I'm not sure how I got it) however in my dream it functions differently than simply "use for response" items. When worn it switches the game to first person view and allow me to tap pokémon that were hiding in trees, bushes or behind things. I dreamt that on my journey I went to a house similar to Old Chateau and put on the Silph Scope. As I explored the rooms and corridors, the walls looked rotted and what looks like the letter "R" splattered in blood on the walls. All the while the Silph Scope was picking up dark spirits haunting me as well as some sort of cthulu pokémon hunting me. It was like a horror version of Pokémon Snap but off-rail. |

 So, Dead or Alive 5 Final Round is going to come out on steam.I like Dead or Alive series, it have a good balance of horrible perverted half naked chicks, and the fighting sistem and stuff is good too. (the voley ball games, i dont know, i play the second one and it was horrible, and dont know how the first one was) but the steam requirements at the moment say you have to at least have a i5 processor. i have a half decent video card and a bunch of ram, but i have just a i3 prosesor. you think i would be able to play it, at least if it allow me to downgrade graphics. or it saying "i5" at least mean "at minimum" settings.  Heroes of Might and Magic IVRecently I was on Facebook talking with some folk and the topic of Heroes of Might and Magic came up. I forget which recent one was the topic, but a statement was made that Heroes IV was the last good one in the series. I was pretty flabbergasted by this because I remember Heroes IV as being objectively the worst one of all time (though I'd never played the very first one [and most other people hadn't either]). By happenstance, I saw a couple streaming it from a link in a GOG email, so I said "What the heck, let's buy it and try it out again." These are my thoughts. |

 Does anypony still enjoy games like Diablo?I'm a huge fan of games with mechanics similar to Diablo's formula.Does anypony here still play Diablo 3, 2, 1? Which did you like best personally and why? Are there any alternative Diablo-esque games you play, like Path of Exile? Let me know about those too. I still play 3 quite a bit, after the expansion I found it to be a pretty enjoyable game. Though still not perfect in my book, it's much better. I have Diablo 2, I plan on getting into it some day. I really enjoy the music and aesthetic of that game and theory crafting sounds fun. I just asking this because for what i hear, prototype 2 sold like 2 million copies on the first 2 weeks, and activition said "mmm, no, your development team is lame, we close you down" And tomb Raider sold like 4 million copies and Square was like "mmmm, this game was a complete failure, this was a complete waste of time" the games need to sell 10 million copies so the publisher say "mmmm, not bad, could be better, but is fine"? |

 So I'm playing Final Fantasy 1 for some light critique and examination (for reasons). Goin' in with a party of Fighter, Monk, White Mage, Black Mage, because I have no reason to believe the Thief does anything and the Red Mage is presumably sorta gimped. Could be way off on that, but that's the vibe I got from their descriptions. Not really sure how the Monk and Fighter are different either, to be honest, but hopefully I'll find that out while playing.First order of business and the reason I'm making this post and taking notes: Battle diversity. I'm gonna record all the different battles in the first zone and what I had to do to beat them to see what sort of variety I'm dealing with. Though I always thought a game with the mane 6 ponies and friends would be a little too cliche and cheesy. I suddenly stumbled across the music video for Thriller and decided to watch it. the images that poped into my head were a mixture of wierd and epic... I suddenly pictured the classic Micheal Jackson as a Belmont/Alucard, tackling Dracula's castle in the dead of night. He breaks into the song Thriller and begins his dance, all the monsters stop attacking and follow his lead. In the end he battles Dracula in this epic dance off.  Fallout- Ghouls being playableIf ghouls were a playable race, or will be in Fo4, what kind of gameplay would you expect for them?I believe ghouls would be more weaker than human and loose much more HP from attacks than usual. This is due to lack of skin and rotting flesh. Not only that but drugs and medicines will also have weaker effects on them. Also gameplay wise, the majority of humans will distrust you regardless of karma. However the primary and good quality Ghouls could have to make up for poor damage resistance, ghouls possess the unique ability to "regenerate" HP. The rate of how much HP is regenerated depends on how much rads you have. In short while humans stay away from radiation and strive for little rads as possible, the opposite can work in your favour. However 0 rads means 0 regeneration which could leave you an an extremely vulerable state. However maxing your rads can still be bad for you as going over the limit can wear on your sanity.  Portal 2 campaignsI've been playing a lot of Portal 2 of late since it's only properly working for me now and been playing community maps. (Look up "Laser Labyrinth" for my first ever map!)I wonder if it's possible to make a campaign of maps than just play them each seperately?
