So transfering content on a xbox 360 Pony_Stark Thu, Oct 16th, 2014 17:32 No. 132625

So I got a new 500 gb hard drive and I started transfering content from my old 360 hard drive. for some reason my xbox turned off on it's own and now I can't transfer the rest of my stuff. It won't recognize the cable. What the fuck am I suppose to do?

That ship sailed a decade ago, bro. Console gamers made their bed and have to sleep in it. Along with everypony who agreed to itunes' EULAs and everypony who bought an ipod or iphone and everypony who hasn't wiped their PC and stuck Gentoo on and everypony who hasn't wiped their phone and stuck cyanogen on and everypony who uses DRM-enabled HDMI.

Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude, but that exact line has been shouted from the mountaintops for ages and it's comically tragic to hear it now in these later years, long after it became a moot point. Society has embraced their chains and that sort of shenanigans have become the rule rather than the exception and the people who care have long since given up on trying to spread awareness.

Like Galt's Gulch, they've departed en mass to github and are content to let society burn.

Turns out I'm the stupidest person ever. Turns out the transfer cable wasn't even plugged in. To make things clear it wasn't fitted improperly into the outlet but was completely unplugged. I must have unplugged it then plugged in a stray controller cable. so yeah. sorry I was rude.

I did something similar once.
>Hooked up some shit to someponys TV and then their cable stopped working
>Get on the phone with support and they don't know what's going on
