Well, yesterday evening I suddenly got really hungry around 11:00 PM, so I ate a rice cracker to suppress the hunger a bit. But unfortunately, all it did was give me a killer stomach ache that kept me awake until 2:00 AM. I ended up waking up again three hours later with terrible nausea, and I didn't get any sleep besides that.
I had a job interview today, which is really hard to do on just three hours of sleep... But the trip there was even harder. I had to go out there in the middle of a rain storm, spent a rediculous amount of money on a 15 minute bus ride (€3,50 for 15 minutes is freaking criminal), and ended up at the wrong address.
I had to call my brother out of his bed, who spent his sweet freaking time getting to the computer, just to get the right address. Problem is... I actually had the right address. Apparently, the company moved without changing their address on the website!
So, I had to call up to the employment agency, and explain the situation. All the while still being in a rain storm, of course. I had to wait for another 15 minutes until they got the right address, and ended up half an hour late at my job interview.
Fortunately, she would still interview me. During which I discovered that the job wasn't at all what I was expecting. They asked for a Junior webdeveloper with knowledge in all the standard languages, Javascript, and PHP... But the job itself only entails making small changes in the website's content and doing chores. As much as I wanted to turn it down, I'm not exactly in a position to do so... So I just had to roll with it.
Then, after travelling back in the rain and paying another rediculous amount of my rapidly dwindling supply of money, I discovered that my brother had used the deadbolt locks that can only be opened from the inside, and went back to bed. God knows how much time I spent throwing stuff at his window to wake that lazy bastard up.
So yea, that pretty much ruined my day. And now I have to wait until next week to hear if I get a job that I'm not even sure I want.
