Unfortunately so.
At this point, I feel that's true for almost all prescription drugs. You're very lucky if you don't have any side effects.

That would be unfortunate. Though if you've got a good "portfolio" of sorts with personal projects (Gochan comes to mind), that might help your case. You are obviously a skilled coder, despite issues beyond your control.

The first SSRI that I took for depression was Zoloft. I probably should have known better, given the effect (emotional meltdown) it had on my sister. In my case, it gave me my first seizure

I don't know if you've ever played any visual novels (aside from Katawa Shoujo, I haven't), but I think you might like it. In some ways, it's a deconstruction of the typical visual novel in its themes, and that's one of the reasons it's pretty good
Also, especially if you do Rin's (my avatar) route, watch out for Katawa Dick Syndrome [www.urbandictionary.com] :P

I mean, we were all in "the void" before. Technically the earth isn't really our home at all. We may spend our whole lives on it, but nothingness is where we spend the entire rest of eternity.

That or an afterlife/beforelife, if such a thing exists. I'm not going to discount that possibility.

Well yes, but (keep in mind despite the fact that I call myself an agnostic, I often lean more towards atheism) we arguably have no physical memory of the "void". Our species first spawned on the earth, how can we have any other home, unless you believe in some kind of creation story?
Though yes, in a metaphysical(?) sense, we do wind up in the void for the rest of eternity (probably)
I dunno. An afterlife just doesn't really seem probable, unless you believe in a literal soul, which I tend noto. If a soul does exist, then yes, its energy has to go somewhere

I read a story once where some guy died and met God and God basically revealed to him that he had lived, and would live, the life of every single human being (if not every single living thing period, I don't recall exactly) throughout history. Deep shit, man.

I want more people to read that story and keep it in mind when supporting things like war, hate, cruelty, etc.

What if you're going to war against yourself, you know? We are all of the same essence.

I've heard stories like that before, from different religions. It's hard to take seriously, and it's more likely triggered by a chemical reaction. Like large amounts of dopamine
>I expect nothingness. But there's really no way to know for sure.
Agreed on both

>>1743143
But you're still assuming that there's some kind of soul energy. This kind of reminds me of a scene from Fullmetal Alchemist. The idea of "all is one and one is all". Sort of like the circle of life, but deeper in that.
