That's the convenient thing, we use an electric drumkit for our rehearsals and so we'll be using that on our demos. Everything else can be home-recorded. Our new guitarist also has a lot of production experience since it's part of his jazz program at school, so I trust he can record his own parts without my help and I've gotten better at home recording too (just recently recorded a little mockup of one of our songs, actually) so it won't actually need much space at all, nor much going out of our way. We also all use the same DAW, so exchanging project files to be added on to and whatnot will be easy as hell.

We were too laid back with the band originally, it's not that we weren't driven but we were trying to do a dozen things at once and it just ruined our momentum. Now I'm trying to learn from those mistakes and set a clear path we need to take.

Dude it's absolutely fantastic in every conceivable way.

Just a bit of writing but... I don't think I can talk about that 'cause I need to try and squeeze in a nap. Take care.

Like I said, learning from past mistakes. In the old band I was both learning how to be a leader and trying to keep everyone happy. I half-assed more things than I should've thanks to this dangerous cocktail, but at heart I'm a planner when it comes to music and I'm staying true to this.

Nah, the ones where you run through your opponent's deck. This was in Millennium Duels and just a makeshift deck to help me earn cards faster, but let me paint the picture for you.. Needle Worms, of course, three Voltic Kongs, and a bunch of light monsters to capitalize on Voltic's ability. Plus the occasional odd deck destruction staple. And of course 3x Lightpulsar Dragon's for sheer power. Then add 3x Solemn Wishes for LP security and you've got a pretty frustrating deck.

How do you mean? Sorry, I'm a bit confused.

It wasn't very trap heavy, fortunately. You'd just stop my Life Point income...

I don't know how well it'd do in a competitive mindset, I just used it to grind weak AI in the game for maximum card gain but I have been meaning to make a more serious variation to occasionally piss off friends.

Meant being more manager than heavily upfront, I think.

Which is something, at least cut that off.

A lot of competitive decks seem to run like that if it's not monster-focused, I think.

Pretty much. There was once a combo involving Self-Destruct Button before it got banned that made a draw, but would let you win a match if you won the first.

If your life points are 7000 less than your opponent's, you can trigger it, and set both your life points to 0, effectively ending the duel.

Yeah, kind of makes me want to write but this shit needs to get done so.. priorities. I think I only have one or two songs that need finishing anyway (just wrapped up the one I was working on) but uh.. the next one is a reaaaaal doozy. So.. I've got my work cut out for me here.. heh.

Yeah, a bit gimmicky though. And Timaeus himself is only really useful if you're facing a really powerful monster so... I don't know.
