Qualifying in Submarines means I understand the way the entire boat works for the most part. It means if there's a casualty like a fire or flooding I can be counted on to know what I'm doing and save the boat and 150 other people from either burning to death, drowning or being smashed by crush depth.

Well technically it's quite a few tiers below that as it's just a beast, if a crazy big one.

Also most squid like creatures have rather... eh... intelligent arms that just touch most shit around them if not in rapid motion, so sound wouldn't be your biggest issue i think, rather being able to put distance between its reach and you would be.

Eh, not so certain about that considering its size and the squid's rather impressive regenerative capacity and surprising durability.

I wouldn't be surprised if it literally got stuck in the mantle / skin part of the thing before reaching anyplace vital in that big a creature, given that the impact with the skin doesn't outright destroy it.

(hence me putting more faith in a whaler-like technique of basically just blowing up its brain from the inside... given that it could be reached)

I love watercolors! Painting colored glass is my favorite thing to do with it, what did you like to paint? It's so unforgiving, but when you get it right it's that much more rewarding!

ohhhh... ohh, me too c: i feel like sometimes, i almost live my whole life in a half dream. i have never seen the movie... but i saw the trailer for it.

i used to paint beautiful scenes of places i hope i could go or be. like pictures of beautiful landscapes, or famous sights in the world... i have one painting i did of Greece... another of a little boat on a quiet lake, just as the sun was setting

...painting glass... wow, that sounds so neat... i just love stained glass. i think that sounds so fun, too! but... also sort of hard, maybe

I think I know that feeling a bit, but I normally try to keep too occupied with busywork or something to let myself ruminate too much. I'm the kind of person who seems to operate best in the here-and-now mindset. Not a very wise one, perhaps.

...although, my favorite part is still the sea creatures part c: that will always be my favorite, i think

a life sized glass head... that is so unique! it is just like Noa to have something so unique... like a life sized glass head, all neatly painted.

Oh, I only paint pictures of the bottles but painting them is actually a wonderful idea! I have some clear glass bottles I was saving for a fun idea, and I'm going to try that! Then I'll actually have a use for my acrylic paints, too. I'm going to try painting an aquarium-type scene on a square one I have.
I've always wanted to go to Egypt for as long as I can remember... The history there is wonderful. I want to see Abu Simbel sooo much, Ramses II is one of my favorite historic figures! And the Valley of the Kings of the Kings, too... And the Valley of the Whales, it sounds like a difficult trip but worth it!
A real asteroid... That sounds so cool! So do the gems, I bet they have some really odd looking rocks and minerals there too! But I definitely didn't see the ocean critters. I love aquatic life so much, it's so odd and graceful. Someday I wanna show you the aquarium that's not too far away! You get to take a short ferry to it and there's an area where they let you pet little sharks and manta rays sometimes!
Anypony with your ability to picture places is an artist in my book! Plus you're great with music, so you're already a talented artist without having to pick up a pencil. c:
