Britain's always been genetically distinct from the rest of Europe, simply because of how inconvenient it was to immigrate there compared to the rest of europe, coupled with our differing cultures (Scottish / Welsh / English, along with their unofficial subgroups like Londoners vs people from Liverpool) that tend to stick in the same area.
To get to England before modern times, you had to use a boat, as opposed to the rest of europe where you could simply walk / horse ride across the border to a different country.
Our navy and soldiers were world class in a literal sense in ye olde times, so trying to settle in england illegally was close to impossible.
Another factor is that our cultural identity was ridiculously strong in the past, if you were British then you were at the center of an empire that was Global, every other country envied us.
We were tough but fair, , we "didnt make a fuss." when things went to shit, we just got on with what needed doing, we knew where we stood in the world and knew that anypony could rise up into a noble line if you worked hard enough and took the right chances. We had some actual Pride in the great kingdom we were a part of.
To see all that pissed away in favor of "Multiculturalism" / "Diversity" as mandated by the rest of europe is just wrong and not something that most britons want to be a part of.
I put those in quotes because the current idea of those two things is just backwards.
You dont celebrate multiculturalism or diversity by throwing lots of cultures into a single place, thats how you kill it by eventually homogenising everything.
>>39806956 If you want things to change, vote UKIP.
Even if you dont entirely believe in their policies, getting a third party into parliment by a significant margin will fuck up the current system that only preserves the status quo, and UKIP are the only party that has a decent chance of knocking over Labour and the Conservatives.
