Funny enough, I was thinking of using his titular short story as my choice for my English project on short stories. That is, if my partner agrees to it.

Nyarla's a pretty intersting Outer God. Unlike the others, he actively takes human form and has an interest in what humans are doing. In a way, he's kinda like Jesus, a god come to human form to lead a messianic cult. Problem is that he's evil, but nobody's perfect.

In Demonbane they trap Azathoth in the Shining Trapezohedron. I don't think they do anything to Yog Sothoth because he's basically spacetime and isn't evil.

I know they're probably not considered a classical Eldritch Abomination/Cosmic Horror but I have always loved the Brethren Moons. Yes, the Dead Space series had problems but I really loved their addition to the world/mythos.

I just love this idea of some great dormant shell of a monster hovering right over our heads, and once the world is at its worst... well, convergence happens and there's nothing but flesh and horror. It's so fascinating from a storytelling and writer standpoint.
